Let me start out by saying that its WAY past time for me to put up a new layout! lol, this one has been up forever now. I'm thinking about making a layout based on a movie as long as I can get the pics to look decent on it.

I have to say that I'm disappointed in how many shows are going to or about to get the axe this season. Seems as though every show that I like ends up leaving. There is Northshore, American Dreams, Point Pleasant (is about to get the axe if ratings don't improve) and many others. I'm still bitter about Angel getting canceled, so you would think that I'm used to it by now. lol...

Speaking of Angel, be sure that you all watch James Marsters in the movie on USA called Cool Money on March 19th. At least I'm pretty sure that was the title, as if that really matters, if James is in it then I'm watching. smile

Wow, life has been really busy for me the last few months. So as you all have probably guessed and seen, the site as been VERY neglected. My ftp isn't working right now so the layout and other site info will have to wait to be updated. I will try to blog some though.

That interview I was talking about in the last entry went well. I actually had filled out all the paperwork and the lady told me that I was hired as long as my background check went ok, which I knew it would. So I wait for her to call me back and she never does. I finally go into the store and she tells me that the company heads decided that that store didn't need anyone else at the moment. So she tells me that she'll keep my info and I'll be her very first choice when an opening comes up. Well its almost 3 months later and I'm not holding my breath for it.

So around a few weeks ago, this other store comes to my town. I went in for an interview with them and it goes very well. I get hired temporarily (as everyone else was) to help set the store up. I helped put up all the shelves (which were very heavy), unload a whole truck load of stock, and many other things. Needless to say, I worked my butt off on this job. It was 7 straight days of 8am-5pm and I had bruises all over me and I was sore all over. But guess what, I didn't get a permanent job. They kept praising us about how well we ALL did but they only got to keep a few people. So that was disappointing. Since I'm needing something local and there really isn't much around here, I'm not sure what I'll end up doing now. So I'm still in search of a job. lol

I'm sure that there is plenty of other things that happened but I think I'll wrap this entry up. lol, I hope that some of you are still out there. Can't wait to hear from you again! smile

Well, I'm back once again from another one of my hiatus'. I believe its starting to become a bad habbit of mine. I really don't mean to be away for that long, but before you know it a few months have gone by. lol, so needless to say, everything on the site is outdated and needs to be worked on, including the layout! I'm gonna try to just get back into the blogging mode first though.

I haven't really been up to anything that blog worthy. I have been looking for a job though. I have an interview Monday so we'll see how that goes. I'm hoping I get it and am able to do the job well. Since I've never really had a job, it kind of makes ya a bit nervous.

Wow, thanks for all of the nice comments on the new layout! It really means a lot. smile

I'm already thinking about what I want to do for the next layout. This one will be up for a while though. I don't think I could do like some sites and change it every other day. lol

My Mom and I are planning on going shopping sometime this weekend if nothing comes up. We live right beside this one town near the mountains that is a huge tourist spot and it has a TON of different Outlet Malls and shops. Well anyways, a lot of them are having labor day sales so thats the reason we thought we'd try to check them out.

Have any of you seen the show Higher Ground before? It only lasted for around 1 season in 2000 on Canadian tv. They show the reruns of it on the WAM! station. It's a really good show, it has Hayden Christensen and A.J. Cook in it. It'd be nice if they'd put it out on DVD. Well, I think I'll go now. It comes on again tonight at 12 am. smile
